US To Fund More Biodefense Programs

The National Institute of Health is renewing funding for research centers that study infectious diseases and the bioterrorist efforts that could arise from particular disease. Ten of the existing centers are receiving $455 million over five years, and this includes the creation of another center in the Pacific Northwest.

Do we think smallpox will be included in this new funding???
